So just say something!

People come into our lives and travel out.  It's just the nature of life - what matters is that while they're here, we are good stewards for them.  As we tend to their needs, teach them, guide them and provide them hope and encouragement, when they do decide to leave us and follow a different path we should be happy and proud to have been a part of their journey.  No matter how short of a time that we got to walk with them.

Being a good steward is hard work - and often we feel betrayed when someone decides to take a different path than the one we had hoped they would take.  Any given path chosen by someone is specific to them - it has little to do with us.  We must be encouraged by their choices and the empowerment to act upon them - be proud of them for taking that step.  Often times fear keeps us in our place and holds us back from showing our true selves.  We should revel when we see someone else boldly follow their path, even if we do not agree with it.

Be a good steward to those around you and you will find that joy, excitement and boldness of stepping out and making choices can be contagious.  You can feed off their energy and motion and create some of your own.
